Louise Goodwin - Percussion & Bass Guitar (keyboard)

I learned the piano from the age of 7 and completed my A. Mus. A. (piano) in 1993. I moved to Brisbane in 1995 and joined the Kedron Adult Starters Band to learn the trumpet, which I loved. After 18mths, I received medical advice for a damaged larynx….if I wanted to keep singing and teaching, I had to give up trumpet. So I moved to the percussion section and the rest is history! I had a 15 year break from band whilst I focussed on my choral singing.     I re-joined Second Wind in 2014 as a member of the Concert Band percussion section. I’ve played alto sax in New Beginnings and currently play bass (keyboard) with Big Band.
