Our conductors

We have experienced conductors to lead rehearsals of the five different ensembles. You will find them to be patient, enthusiastic and helpful.  Their aim is for every player, whatever their level, to gain something from each rehearsal and to go away with something to work on to help make them a better musician.

From time to time, we have guest conductors in to take the main ensembles. This brings a different approach and adds variety.  It also exposes players to different conducting styles and teaching methods. We have access to a wide range of highly experienced musicians who are willing to come along and either work in conjunction with our regular band leaders, or stand in if our own leaders are away.
